This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, landscape care, and equipment operation to create a safe, attractive, and functional environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, landscaping expertise, and a passion for maintaining high standards of property appearance and safety. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery such as excavators. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming trees, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and weed control to enhance curb appeal. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to maintain healthy landscapes; apply pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines. Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors and staff. Maintain hardscape features such as walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures through repairs or upgrades. Assist with construction projects or renovations as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout all tasks. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators. Strong background in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, and plant identification. Knowledge of irrigation systems management and pesticide application procedures. Experience in lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and tree trimming. Ability to perform snow plowing operations safely during winter weather conditions. Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
