JOB OVERVIEW
The General Maintenance Worker repairs building structures and mechanical, electrical and sanitary systems, and performs general maintenance on machinery.- Perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such tasks as carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, masonry, electrical, or plumbing activities
- Operate gardening and grounds care equipment as required
- Perform operator maintenance on all equipment used in the execution of duties and report higher echelon maintenance requirements to appropriate personnel
- Assist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance, as required
- Work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays
- Work overtime as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a current state and Government Driver's License
- Experience performing general maintenance of buildings and equipment.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions up to 75% of the workday.
- Must be able to climb ladders potentially as high as a two-story building.
- Be available to work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays.
- Be available to work overtime as required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
