Immediately Job Description Duties (include but are not limited to):
  • Work with the Bennington Elementary Facilities team manage school grounds, including debris removal, mowing, weed whacking, snow removal, salting, painting, and all other scopes of work that relate to the entire exterior of the building remaining safe, neat, accessible, and clean.
  • Work with the Bennington Elementary Facilities keep interior district facilities in a neat, clean, and safe condition and/or perform all custodial duties.
  • Collaborate with the team in the maintenance and storage of District property.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting of automated systems including HVAC, BMS, Security systems and the like.
  • Collaborate and perform the implementation of the preventative maintenance program for the District.
  • Assist in restocking and expediting material within District facilities as needed for daily, weekly, and season operations.
  • Report unauthorized persons and/or damage to appropriate authority as required and engage in the remediation of any and all similar incidents.
  • Assist in the supervision, training, and coordination of all activities of personnel as required.
  • Support the value of education and the philosophy and mission of the District.
  • Attend District training as required.
  • Perform such other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the supervisor may assign.
  • Adhere to all District policies and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by building administrators, directors, and the central office staff
