Service Manager
Job Description
Seeking experienced HVAC/Trade professional for leadership position. We are looking for a team player with strong administrative, communication and organizational skills. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates as laid out by technician
- Purchase equipment and materials for scheduled projects and common stock
- Create purchase orders and record material receipts
- Occasional travel to job sites to assist as needed
- Work with general manager in developing larger project proposals
- Oversee technician's input to field management system to ensure timely data entry and facilitate follow-up
- Assist dispatch in scheduling technicians per skill set, logistics and material availability
- Support dispatch function in supplying technical information, processing warranty parts and assist in growth of service and maintenance contracts Education & Job Requirements
- 7+ Years work experience in HVAC or similar trade (plumbing, electrical, construction)
- Detail oriented, basic writing and math skills
- Comfortable learning new application (field management) software
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Punctuality and strong work ethic
