Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage our facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems across our facilities. Your leadership will ensure that all systems function optimally, comply with safety regulations, and support a safe, comfortable environment for staff and visitors. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the facilities maintenance team responsible for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment lifespan and performance. Oversee troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of complex HVAC systems, electrical circuits—including high voltage and low voltage systems—and mechanical equipment using schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget while adhering to safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Conduct inspections of mechanical systems and facilities to identify issues early; utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and schematics for system analysis. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by enforcing proper maintenance repair procedures and safety protocols among team members. Collaborate with management on facilities management strategies, including managing budgets, procurement of parts via CMMS or other tools, and scheduling routine inspections. Train team members on maintenance repair procedures, safety regulations, and proper use of diagnostic tools to foster a culture of safety and technical excellence. Requirements Proven experience in supervising or managing facilities maintenance teams with a focus on HVAC system repair and mechanical systems repair. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience—including high voltage and low voltage systems—and plumbing system maintenance. Demonstrated expertise in managing industrial maintenance projects using project management principles. Proficiency in using CMMS software, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards applicable to facilities maintenance operations. Ability to interpret technical schematics for HVAC, electrical wiring diagrams, plumbing layouts, and mechanical systems. Effective leadership skills with experience in team management, supervising technicians, and managing facilities maintenance teams efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation, reporting, and team coordination. Relevant certifications or training in HVAC systems repair, electrical systems (including high voltage), industrial maintenance practices, or related fields are highly desirable.
