Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated General Manager - Lawn Maintenance to lead our outdoor grounds management team. Your leadership will drive team performance, coordinate landscaping projects, and uphold safety and efficiency across all operations. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of grounds maintenance crew members, providing clear direction, training, and motivation to achieve operational excellence. Oversee lawn care activities including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf. Supervise landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, shrubbery care, and hardscape installation or repair. Coordinate construction projects related to outdoor spaces, including site preparation, irrigation installation, and hardscape development. Manage irrigation systems—installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation equipment to optimize water efficiency across properties. Ensure proper operation of grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Identify plants accurately for proper care and disease management; perform regular inspections to assess plant health and landscape condition. Oversee the operation of company vehicles used for outdoor work ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, project progress, equipment usage, and safety inspections. Foster a positive team environment through effective crew management and leadership that encourages continuous improvement. Experience Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or landscaping environments is essential. Knowledge of plant identification techniques and plant health management practices. Hands-on experience with irrigation systems—installation, troubleshooting, and repairs—is highly desirable. Familiarity with outdoor construction projects involving hardscape elements such as patios or walkways. Demonstrated ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools safely and efficiently. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is preferred; a passion for gardening and environmental stewardship is a plus. Pay:

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
