This role is essential in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property by managing a team of skilled technicians and maintenance staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise across various mechanical and electrical systems, and a proactive approach to facilities management. As the Maintenance Lead, you will drive maintenance repair procedures, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and implement efficient management practices to maintain high standards of operational excellence. Duties Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage wiring—and mechanical equipment. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting guides to diagnose issues accurately using tools like ohmmeters and other testing devices. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs aligned with safety regulations such as OSHA standards to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Manage facilities maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory levels, and maintenance history for all assets. Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget parameters through effective project management practices. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs while adhering to safety regulations. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by enforcing proper procedures during maintenance activities. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and repair logs for audit purposes. Skills Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with a focus on team supervision and leadership. Strong mechanical knowledge covering HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems—including high voltage—and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and industrial maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams for electrical systems; experience with Ohmmeters for circuit testing is essential. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in English for clear instructions, team coordination, and reporting purposes.
