Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and directs the daily maintenance, repair, and functionality of the residential buildings.
  • Managing maintenance staff.
  • Responding to resident service requests.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections.
  • Scheduling and performing routine maintenance inspections.
  • HVAC diagnosis and repair.
  • Knowledge in plumbing, electrical and fire/life safety.
  • Knowledge in new construction, warranty processing and record keeping.
  • Training maintenance team to perform to their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in facilities management is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants and prospects
  • Ability to diagnose and solve resident maintenance concerns; while resolving conflicts with tenants diplomatically
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to rental properties
  • Proficiency in using property management software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in work order completion and notes.
