Job Description

We're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who can do more than keep equipment running. We need a leader who develops technicians, builds strong teams, creates accountability, and partners with production to drive operational excellence. What You'll Be Responsible For:
You will be responsible for developing current and future maintenance talent by: Coaching and mentoring technicians Creating training and development plans Supporting cross-training initiatives Building technical capability across the team Creating clear development paths for technicians and team leaders Ensuring new employees are successfully onboarded and integrated into the team You will help move the organization from reactive habits toward disciplined execution by: Setting clear expectations Holding employees accountable fairly and consistently Reinforcing positive behaviors Addressing performance concerns constructively Creating an environment of trust, respect, and ownership Leading through influence and example Drive Maintenance Excellence You will lead maintenance activities including: Preventive maintenance Predictive maintenance Reliability improvement initiatives Emergency repairs Root cause analysis Work order management Technician scheduling and workforce planning Continuous improvement activities We're not looking for the best mechanic in the plant. We're looking for the leader who can build the best maintenance team in the plant.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate: Develop technicians rather than simply solving problems themselves Builds accountability without creating fear Creates strong partnerships with operations Leads confidently during downtime and production challenges Communicate effectively at all levels Is respected for technical credibility and leadership effectiveness Helps people and teams grow Balances employee needs with business priorities Technical Background Candidates should possess strong industrial maintenance experience in one or more of the following areas: PLC troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC 500 & PLC-5) Mitsubishi PLCs Inverter and DC Drives AC & DC Servo Drives Robotics and automation systems Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Rigging Highly automated manufacturing equipment Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments is strongly preferred. Education and Experience Preferred Associate Degree in: Industrial Maintenance Mechatronics Electrical Technology Engineering Technology Related technical field Equivalent combinations of technical training, certifications, military experience, and demonstrated maintenance leadership experience will be considered. Experience We Value 7+ years industrial maintenance experience 3+ years maintenance leadership experience Experience leading technicians in a multi-craft environment Experience in highly automated manufacturing operations Ideal Candidate 10+ years industrial maintenance experience 5+ years of leadership responsibility History of developing technicians and future leaders Experience improving reliability, training programs, and team performance Proven success leading culture and behavior change initiatives Preferred Certifications OSHA 30 General Industry
