The Sun Valley Vehicle Maintenance Manager directs and coordinates personnel responsible for the repair, maintenance, and modification of all company vehicles and equipment, including diesel and unleaded trucks, equipment, golf carts, and other company vehicles. The position also oversees operations at the Sinclair Gas Station and supervises Event Shuttle Drivers. Duties and Responsibilities Plan and schedule departmental tasks to maintain vehicles and equipment in operating conditions. Part-take in and supervise the maintenance of company vehicles. Review reports of company vehicle malfunctions from operators and assign maintenance mechanics to develop corrective modifications or coordinate necessary repairs. Analyze workforce productivity records and operating procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and implement revised processes. Collaborate with the Executive Director of Operations to address employee performance issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Partner with the Procurement Department to develop division budget estimates and evaluate operating costs, replacement parts and materials, and outside contractual services, and recommends equipment and vehicle purchases to the Executive Director of Operations. Attend and participate in Operations meetings. Meet regularly with Vehicle Maintenance staff to provide guidance, direction, and support. Responsible for all underground storage tanks and above ground fuel tanks at all locations. Work closely with the Department of Environmental Quality and the Petroleum Storage Tank Fund ensuring the company is following all laws and regulations. Keep all employees current with required training and certifications necessary to perform their duties Manage the Sinclair Gas Station including fuel purchases, keeping all daily, monthly, and yearly required reports. Oversee all event shuttle drivers, and ensure the company is in compliance with all DOT laws and regulations. Manage throughputs to all fueling locations including the Sinclair Station, River Run, Lookout, Dollar, Elkhorn, and Clubhouse. Engineer, develop, and produce various projects as requested by the Executive Director of Operations. Ensure the company is in compliance with the Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure plan in partnership with the Risk Management team. Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least 10 years of full-time experience in maintenance and mechanics Management experience preferred Must possess CDL and Passenger endorsement DEQ Class A and B Operator training certification required Current U.S. driver's license required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Can safely lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
