Apartment Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at one of our apartment communities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Property Management company and play a key role in delivering high-quality resident service. This position blends hands-on technical work with operational oversight and requires a leader who is organized, service-driven, and open to working within modern property management systems. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance operations and apartment make-readies Lead and perform work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Coordinate vendors and manage electronic purchase orders Maintain accurate, up-to-date unit turn status through the make-ready board Technology & Systems Approximately 25% of the role involves administrative work at a computer Use of company software systems for procurement and unit tracking is required Utilize a mobile app to manage work orders and inspections, including real-time documentation with notes, photos, and videos No prior experience with these systems is required; training will be provided. However, candidates must be willing and able to learn and use technology consistently as part of daily operations Previous experience with property management or maintenance software is a plus for supervisory candidates Qualifications 3+ years of maintenance experience (multi-family preferred) Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Commitment to quality work and efficient operations A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
