Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Lead to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations within a food processing facility. This role is vital in ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and systems. The Maintenance Lead will lead a team of technicians, troubleshoot complex machinery issues, and implement preventative maintenance strategies. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repair activities on industrial electrical systems, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Oversee equipment troubleshooting involving hydraulics, pneumatics, welding ( welding if applicable), and other industrial mechanics. Ensure compliance with safety standards by conducting routine inspections on other machinery requiring specialized certifications or training. Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze failure modes and optimize maintenance procedures for maximum efficiency. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts inventory to ensure operational readiness. Provide excellent customer service internally by supporting production teams with technical solutions promptly and effectively. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in CMMS software for work order management and maintenance scheduling. Strong technical sales experience or ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to clients or vendors. Knowledge of industrial electrician skills, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters accurately. Skilled in analyzing complex mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals; adept at equipment repair across diverse systems. Demonstrated experience with industrial electrician tasks including electrical system maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues effectively. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high safety standards. Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration across departments. Customer service orientation combined with analytical skills to resolve technical challenges efficiently. Skills desired include machine repair and rebuilding, welding, fabricating, pipe fitting, all phases of 480V/230V/120V, Allen-Bradley PLC experience, motor controls, pumps, and conveyors.
