Maintenance Supervisor - Powerplant Line Crew (Second Shift)
Department:
Powerplant Line Crew Reports to: Maintenance Manager - Powerplant Line Crew Internal applicants must submit an Employee Internal Application form. A signature from your current manager is required to be considered for position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. The supervisor is responsible for leading and directing personnel under his/her supervision to ensure quality in both Powerplant and Aircraft maintenance, minimizing delays, working safely, and increasing production. 2. Working with Leads to ensure projects achieve quality work on time and within budget, as well as proper and efficient workflow and issuing of task cards. 3. Coordinate and communicate with the Line MX and hanger Managers to ensure all aircraft are delivered on or before schedule. 4. Ensuring company GMM, RSM, SRM, CMM, MM, WDM, and FAR procedures are followed, ensuring all aircraft work is performed with revised and approved data. 5. Keeping a clean, safe workplace always. Recommending improvements needed to increase performance, quality, etc. to upper management. 6. Reporting any problems affecting projects to the proper Manager, and liaising with customers. 7. Ensuring personnel are following instructions and performing tasks in a safe efficient manner. 8. Performing other duties as required/requested by OSC Powerplant Line MX Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to work overtime, weekends & days off. FAA Powerplant license is required / FAA Airframe license is preferred. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school graduate; 5 years min. experience in maintenance and repair on commercial category aircraft.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
