Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of the facilities maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks. Manage maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and low voltage controls using schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Oversee the use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history for all equipment. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and enforcing proper safety protocols across all maintenance activities. Develop and manage maintenance schedules for routine inspections and repairs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Lead project management efforts for facilities upgrades or repairs, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for electrical troubleshooting and system diagnostics to ensure reliable operation of electrical systems. Maintain detailed schematics and technical documentation for all mechanical and electrical systems to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and repairs. Manage facilities maintenance teams effectively by providing leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Skills Proven management experience supervising facilities or maintenance teams in an industrial or commercial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems troubleshooting, and low voltage control systems. Proficiency in using schematics, technical manuals, CMMS software, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), and engineering troubleshooting tools. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with best practices in industrial maintenance management. Experience managing projects related to facilities maintenance or upgrades from conception through completion. Ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams for electrical and mechanical systems effectively. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management, safety enforcement, problem-solving, and communication in English.
