Important functions of this position Planting and maintaining perennials, shrubs, annuals Creating unique seasonal container displays Trimming and sculpting of trees and shrubs Watering, fertilizing, deadheading, and general tidying of gardens Garden renovation Basic knowledge of plant pests Team Leading Works effectively as a Crew Leader to manage 3-4 crew members Creates a positive and inviting work environment for their team members Able and willing to teach and mentor all staff in appropriate methods of work Works directly with the Operations Manager and assistant Communicates effectively with other Crew Leaders and co-workers Provides excellent service that is accurate, complete, and timely to clients Actively contributes to job quality, safety, and customer service goals Able to set a pace and workflow for their team by setting an example
