Our skilled nursing facility is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee and coordinate all maintenance operations, ensuring our residents, staff, and visitors enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming space.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred. 1 year of Maintenance Management/Supervisor expereince Prior experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting. Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety codes. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (DOH, OSHA, Life Safety Code) strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders. Maintain building systems, equipment, grounds, and utilities in accordance with safety and regulatory standards. Develop and manage maintenance budgets, supply orders, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local building codes and regulations. Participate in safety committee meetings and support emergency preparedness plans.
