PURPOSE Supervises and coordinates the safe, reliable and compliant maintenance of Lourdes Industries' facilities, infrastructure and production equipment. Leads assigned maintenance and custodial personnel, serves as the site EHS Coordinator, and drives preventive maintenance execution under the direction of the Operations Manager, with functional guidance from Spartan's Director of Facilities & Maintenance and the external EHS consultant. Ensures maintenance activities support applicable customer requirements, product conformity and the site quality management system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Facilities & Maintenance Supervision:

Supervise and coordinate assigned building, utility and production-equipment maintenance; establish daily work priorities; troubleshoot issues; coordinate qualified vendors; and support custodial services, repairs, critical spares and facility/equipment improvement projects. Prioritize work based on safety, environmental, product-quality and production risk.

EHS Coordinator:

Conduct brief daily safety/compliance walks and scheduled documented inspections; support audits; record findings; coordinate assignment of corrective actions with responsible department leaders; and follow actions and recommendations through closure. Department leaders and employees remain responsible for safe work practices and timely correction of conditions in their areas.

JHA & Hazard Controls:

Coordinate JHAs, PPE assessments and task/area hazard reviews with supervisors and EHS resources; drive implementation and verification of guarding, engineering, administrative and PPE controls.

Preventive Maintenance & Reliability:

Maintain the asset list, equipment-criticality classifications, PM schedules, work orders and maintenance records; monitor overdue PMs, backlog age, unplanned downtime and recurring failures; and escalate safety-, quality- or production-critical maintenance risks. Lead or support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for significant or repeat failures. Safe Maintenance /

LOTO :

Follow and support hazardous-energy-control/LOTO and safe-maintenance requirements; identify gaps and ensure regulated or specialized work is performed only by appropriately trained/authorized personnel.

Equipment Release & Product Protection:

Verify repairs are complete and guarding, interlocks and operating controls are restored before equipment is returned to service. Coordinate with Operations, Quality and Engineering when maintenance could affect product conformity, process capability, calibrated status or a controlled manufacturing process. Document and control temporary repairs. Aerospace Housekeeping /

FOD:

Protect raw material, work-in-process, finished product and controlled areas during maintenance. Follow applicable foreign-object-debris, tool-control, housekeeping and contamination-control requirements.

Contractors & Critical Spares:

Verify contractor qualifications and site safety requirements; review completed contractor work before closure. Identify and monitor critical maintenance spares, stock levels, lead-time and obsolescence risks.

Compliance & Emergency Support:

Support housekeeping, emergency preparedness, chemical/SDS and waste controls, exits, electrical clearances, machine guarding, compressed gas and other assigned EHS/facility programs.

Tracking & Communication:

Maintain a consolidated Facilities/Maintenance/EHS action register and provide regular status to the Operations Manager, including overdue actions, PM compliance, backlog age, unplanned downtime, repeat failures, critical-spare risks and significant safety, quality or production risks.

Authority:

Assign and prioritize work within the assigned maintenance/facilities function; immediately communicate and escalate unsafe conditions; stop or suspend work involving an imminent safety, environmental or product-quality hazard; and isolate unsafe or unreliable equipment/areas pending appropriate evaluation and release.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's Degree or equivalent required; technical/trade education in industrial maintenance, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems or facilities management preferred. 3-5+ years of facilities, industrial maintenance or manufacturing-equipment maintenance experience, including coordination of vendors, work priorities and preventive maintenance; prior lead or supervisory experience preferred. Ability to inspect work areas, recognize maintenance/EHS concerns, document findings and drive corrective actions; working knowledge of JHAs, PPE, LOTO, machine guarding, Hazard Communication and emergency egress preferred. Strong organization and computer skills (Word, Excel, email, and work-order/action tracking);

CMMS/ERP

experience required or Company-assigned. Experience in aerospace or another regulated manufacturing environment and familiarity with

AS9100/ISO 9001

are preferred. OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training is preferred or may be Company-assigned. Valid driver's license; ability to operate company vehicles or powered equipment when properly trained, authorized and required.

PERSONAL / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Visible and engaged on the shop floor; organized, collaborative and able to follow issues through closure. Ability to work throughout an industrial facility, walk/stand for extended periods, bend, climb, reach, use hand tools and required PPE, and support occasional off-shift/weekend maintenance or emergencies. Group Director of Facilities & Maintenance (facilities, PM and capital planning) and Lourdes external EHS consultant (technical EHS guidance and assessments).

$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
