Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a proactive approach to safety and operational efficiency. Duties Manage and supervise the facilities maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, electrical systems (high and low voltage), plumbing, and other building infrastructure. Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues quickly and accurately. Implement maintenance repair procedures following safety regulations such as OSHA standards; ensure compliance across all activities. Develop preventative maintenance schedules to optimize equipment uptime and extend asset lifespan. Manage facilities maintenance budgets, procurement of parts/materials, and vendor relationships for specialized repairs such as HVAC system repair or mechanical systems overhaul. Qualifications Proven experience in supervising facilities or groundskeeping teams with strong leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing systems, HVAC system repair, and industrial maintenance procedures. Strong management skills with experience managing projects from planning through completion; proficient in project management principles. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols in a facilities environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals; excellent problem-solving skills in complex mechanical or electrical troubleshooting scenarios.
