The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directly overseeing Maintenance employees and must assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of casino property, casino vehicles, and casino grounds. DUTIES And Responsibilities
Responsible for scheduling, timecard approvals, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, terminations, and enforcing Quapaw Casino policies/procedures.
Maintain personnel records in relation to absences and punctuality
Responsible for addressing employee issues, concerns, or complaints as they arise, and promptly communicating with Facility Manager of all concerns.
Conducts departments meetings as necessary to provide updates and direction.
Ensure that work responsibilities are covered in their absence.
Takes an active role in the planning, design concept and workability of all ongoing building projects, expansions, remodels, while remaining within budgetary guidelines.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on all casino equipment.
Performs the upkeep of the casino ground which includes mowing and general lawn care.
Clean and maintain the appearance of the parking lot.
Responsible for occasional remodeling of casino property; leads and oversees all ongoing remodeling and expansions.
Responsible for completing all task assigned to them in a timely manner.
Adheres to and promotes all safety standards, policies, procedures, and practices.
Reports all safety hazards to Facility Manager and follows up to ensure hazards are eliminated.
Helps ensure the general safety and welfare of employees and patrons.
Attend all necessary training and departmental meetings as required.
Maintains a professional work environment with casino guest, managers, and staff.
Meets attendance guidelines of the job, adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Must uphold and promote a high degree of confidentiality.
Performs all other task or duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon employment.
High school diploma or its equivalent required.
Previous supervisory experience of a similar size and scope of duties and responsibilities preferred.
Must be self-motivated, able to work without constant supervision, and assure attention to detail; must be thorough and take pride in work.
Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with others.
Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Key license through the QNGA.
Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.
Must have the physical ability to work with extreme weather as well as the ability to lift 50 lbs., to squat, stand or bend repeatedly.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.

Pay:
$800.00 - $1,100.00 per week
