Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Person to join our dynamic facilities team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our manufacturing or residential facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient environment by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting ongoing facility improvements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and supervisory skills in a fast-paced setting where your contributions directly impact operational excellence. Hotel Experience preferably! Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated processes within manufacturing or facility environments. Conduct welding repairs and fabrication work as needed to support equipment maintenance or facility modifications. Execute residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the premises when required. Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, coordinating with team members or contractors to ensure timely completion. Lead small teams or supervise maintenance staff during shift operations, fostering a safe and productive work environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair, including experience with schematics and electrical testing tools like ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems. Skilled in welding techniques for repairs and fabrications. Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Residential painting skills for interior and exterior projects when necessary. Supervisory experience leading maintenance teams or projects effectively. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration across teams. Basic leadership qualities with the ability to supervise or assist with ongoing projects while maintaining safety standards.
