This is a working manager position, must be willing and able to help in the terminal when necessary. A CDL is preferred but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Oversees all aspects of operations at the facility including: Coordinate the receipt, release, storage, and maintenance of all inventory at the yard. Supervise all aspects of disassembling multi-unit truck loads. Oversee any potential light maintenance required to deliver inventory to final destination. Closely manage the inspection of all vehicles in preparation of final transport. Consistently monitor yard inventory and develop plans to optimize space. Monitor manufacturer's visibility of short and long term production to facilitate capacity. Responsible for damage prevention and timely reporting of any incidents. This position requires regular, on-site attendance and performance of duties from the company's office or designated work locations. Working from the office or on location is considered an essential function of this role. Foster an environment that encourages consistent focus on management of revenue and cost control. Communicates areas of responsibility and performance expectations, while fostering a corporative and harmonious working climate to maximize employee morale and productivity. Ensure laborers have the required training to perform job responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.

(minimum) A CDL is preferred but not required. Truck transport terminal operations is a plus.
