Available Help for . Description Ametsa Packaging, a leading company in the Food & Beverages industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our team. As our Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facility and equipment are constantly in great condition, enabling us to meet production goals and provide our customers with the high-quality products they deserve. You will work hand-in-hand with our maintenance team to coordinate repair and preventive maintenance schedules, optimise downtime, and troubleshoot machinery issues as they arise. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance planning, a strong understanding of industrial machinery, and excellent organisational and communication skills. Responsibilities
Create and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment in our facility
Coordinate repair schedules with maintenance technicians
Monitor work order backlog, assign work orders, and prioritise tasks to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally at all times
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities to measure success and identify areas for improvement
Foster strong relationships with equipment vendors to ensure timely delivery of replacement parts and equipment
Collaborate with other departments to continuously improve production processes and reduce downtime
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate findings to management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance planning role in an industrial setting
Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and related repair and maintenance procedures
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a complex schedule
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
