Manufacturing Maintenance Manager:
Lead electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance activities for rubber mixing, extrusion, and injection molding operations Plan, prioritize, schedule, and assign maintenance work based on plant needs, technician skills, and equipment urgency Direct maintenance of production equipment, tools, utilities, buildings, grounds, and facility systems to maximize uptime Lead electrical maintenance for motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, and systems up to 480V Develop, manage, and improve preventive maintenance programs while tracking completion and reducing unplanned downtime Lead root cause analysis for major equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues Supervise, train, coach, recognize, and discipline maintenance team members as needed Manage staffing, shift coverage, on-call schedules, department resources, and time allocation for planned and emergency work Coordinate maintenance suppliers, contractors, janitorial services, and outside repair work Assist with critical equipment repairs and ensure quality workmanship meets applicable regulations and safety standards Manage Lockout/Tagout procedures and promote safe maintenance practices across the department Monitor department expenses, support annual budget planning, and identify capital equipment or facility needs Support capital project planning, approval requests, and implementation with the engineering team Oversee utility usage and support efficient facility operations Promote use of technical manuals, OEM resources, online troubleshooting tools, and diagnostic technology to improve repair response times Resolve maintenance team and cross-department conflicts to support safe, efficient production operations Follow all policies and safety procedures in place Other duties as assigned Qualifications for
Manufacturing Maintenance Manager:
Bachelor's degree in electrical, industrial, mechanical, or related engineering discipline Three to five years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Experience supporting rubber mixing, extrusion, injection molding, or similar industrial operations preferred Hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, and equipment up to 480V Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs Equivalent combinations of relevant education, technical training, and experience considered Ability to frequently stand, walk, and use hands, with occasional sitting, climbing, kneeling, and crawling Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in environments with heat, noise, and moving equipment Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards; reports hazards and uses required PPE Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach Please apply today, then call or text (276) 335-2080.
