Job Description

SkillSetGroup is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing operation in the Huntington Beach, CA area. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

PM Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and related equipment. Diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs to minimize production downtime. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation. Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, controls, and other electrical components. Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and related components. Assist with equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Perform routine inspections to identify worn or failing components before equipment breakdowns occur. Document completed maintenance and repair activities. Follow established safety procedures while working around industrial machinery and electrical equipment.
Requirements:
Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics. Experience troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components. Ability to independently diagnose equipment problems and complete repairs. Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance in a production environment. Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment is preferred. Previous experience supporting injection molding or similar high-volume manufacturing equipment is a plus.
Pay:
$25.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
