About the Role As a Manufacturing Machine Technician, you will play a vital role in our production facility by ensuring high-quality output and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for managing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and upholding rigorous safety standards to support our commitment to excellence in direct mail manufacturing. Responsibilities Manage the daily operation and routine maintenance of production machinery to ensure optimal throughput. Execute precise machine setups and adjustments based on specific project requirements to guarantee product accuracy. Proactively troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize production delays and maintain workflow continuity. Monitor production quality to ensure all outputs meet or exceed client specifications and internal standards. Collaborate with team members across shifts to communicate status updates and facilitate seamless handovers. Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out and HazCom guidelines. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance overall production capacity and efficiency. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proven mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform equipment maintenance and repairs. Demonstrated manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established operational guidelines. Preferred Skills 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment. Familiarity with predictive and productive maintenance systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Experience with machine setups for complex production runs.
