Industrial Machinery Technician
Job Description
About the Role As an Industrial Machinery Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our technical team, ensuring the seamless operation of complex production systems. You will utilize your expertise in electrical and mechanical diagnostics to minimize downtime, optimize equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement across our facility infrastructure. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize the lifespan and efficiency of industrial assets. Diagnose and resolve intricate issues involving pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, and high-voltage electrical systems. Manage the installation, assembly, and reconstruction of production machinery to support evolving operational needs. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, document repairs, and manage project planning. Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to oversee specialized service events and facility upgrades. Conduct rigorous safety inspections and performance testing to ensure all equipment adheres to strict operational standards. Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment. Proven proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems, industrial electrical circuits, and mechanical assemblies. Strong ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and technical manuals. Commitment to workplace safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), servo motors, and conveyor systems. Certification or operational experience with heavy equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts. Background in ultra-high vacuum systems or specialized combustion equipment. Familiarity with CNC machine setup, changeover, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
