POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Millwright to join our Maintenance team. The Millwright will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing plant equipment and systems to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment, and a commitment to safety and equipment reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues and make necessary repairs
  • Repair, replace, adjust, and maintain equipment and components
  • Install and assist with installation of plant equipment and systems
  • Support equipment modifications, capital projects, and continuous improvement projects
  • Complete scheduled and emergency maintenance as needed
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist with restoring operations
  • Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document completed work in the CMMS
  • Follow equipment startup, shutdown, maintenance, and operating procedures
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, equipment, and maintenance shops
  • Communicate effectively with Operations, Maintenance, and other departments
  • Identify equipment and safety concerns and report or correct them appropriately
  • Participate in safety meetings, training, and other required company programs
  • Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Properly use and maintain all required PPE
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as required
  • Work independently and as part of a team throughout the facility
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous industrial maintenance or Millwright experience required
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Ability to safely work with industrial equipment and tools
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be willing to participate in on-call coverage
  • Must maintain required training, certifications, and qualifications
  • Must be committed to maintaining a safe and clean work environment SAFETY
  • Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Properly wear and maintain required PPE
  • Report unsafe conditions, hazards, and near-miss incidents
  • Follow plant emergency response and safety procedures
  • Exercise Stop Work Authority when necessary #insj
