Day shift / Weekends as needed About Us Shadybrook Lumber Products is a leading manufacturer of high-quality wood pallets serving industries across the west. We're dedicated to building durable products, maintaining safe and efficient operations, and investing in the growth of our team members. We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, at least three years of industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on pallet manufacturing equipment, including saws, nailers, conveyors, stackers, and sorters. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and ensure production reliability. Install, align, and adjust mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in production. Troubleshoot and repair machine components to ensure optimal performance and safety. Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and equipment schematics. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to quickly resolve issues and maintain workflow efficiency. Maintain accurate service and repair records while adhering to all company safety standards and environmental policies. Participate in equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Minimum five (5) years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or automotive maintenance. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Basic electrical experience (such as troubleshooting motors, wiring, or control panels) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics. Welding, fabrication, and machinery alignment experience preferred. Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) required. Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and accountability.
