Millwright Superintendent Overview:

Freedom Recruiting has an opening for a full-time superintendent in

Lehigh County Location:

Allentown PA, on-site, permanent location

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 6am - 2pm (nights and weekends as needed to meet project needs)

Compensation:

$38-$43 (Daily OT after 8 hrs. > Sat. 1.5 > Sun. Double > Holiday Triple)

EAP Summary:

Reporting to the project manager; oversite of all industrial mechanical responsibilities & supervisions within the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee millwright crews, foremen, subcontractors, and industrial projects.
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
• Install and modify conveyors, piping, ductwork, fluid handling systems, and other equipment.
• Perform fabrication, cutting, grinding, welding, and steel erection/modifications.
• Service and repair equipment including bearings, drives, shafts, and related components.
• Perform equipment alignment, leveling, rigging, and material handling.
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes, service trucks, and other jobsite equipment.
• Train, mentor & oversee certifications for crew members
• Communicate with customers, assist with project needs, and identify additional service opportunities.
• Complete material lists, paperwork, timesheets, purchasing requests, and basic computer tasks.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years experience
• Prior equivalent field work
• Ability to work OT when needed per project needs

$38.00 - $43.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
