Job Description
Job Summary We are a family-owned glass fabrication company looking for a motivated Entry-Level Production Machinery Maintenance Technician to help keep our production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone mechanically inclined who wants to build a career in industrial maintenance. We are willing to train the right candidate! If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, working with your hands, and learning new skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Assist with preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Learn to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems under the guidance of an experienced technician. Perform routine inspections and identify equipment issues before they become major problems. Replace worn or damaged machine parts. Review maintenance logs and work orders (Limble CMMS software). Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures. Work closely with Owner, Plant Manager, Director of Operations and operators to ensure equipment reliability. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Previous maintenance, automotive, farm equipment, machine shop, construction, military, or technical school experience. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and positive attitude. Preferred Requirements Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, HVAC, automotive technology, welding, or a related field. Basic understanding of electrical systems, motors, bearings, conveyors, or hydraulics. Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus.
