Installer Job Description As an Installer, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans and specifications to understand installation requirements, installing and setting up various types of equipment, including machinery, electronic devices, or industrial systems. You will assemble and integrate components according to provided instructions and technical drawings, perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment, coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution, adhere to safety protocols, and troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Responsibilities Review project plans and specifications to understand installation requirements. Install and set up various types of equipment, including machinery, electronic devices, or industrial systems. Assemble and integrate components according to provided instructions and technical drawings. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment as needed. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use various tools for correct installation. Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications. Ability to use hand and power tools for assembly and installation. Attention to detail and precision in equipment setup. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Physical fitness and ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment. Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in equipment installation may be required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Henrico, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
