Here at Lakeside Foods, our maintenance technician team is the backbone of our operations, ensuring equipment runs optimally while maintaining the facility. Maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected "Jack of All Trades" team members, performing mechanical and/or fabrication updates and using their knowledge to continuously improve production processes. What You'll Do:

Harvest season (July

•November)

Responsible for the efficient operation of the pea harvesters, sweet corn harvesters, and any other equipment used in our planting and harvesting operations.

Serve as a supervisor/mechanic for field operations. Train other field employees in the safe, proper and efficient operation of field equipment.

Assist in the planting and harvesting of crops.

Preventative Maintenance Season (December

•June):

Overhaul and repair of machinery and vehicles used in field operations.

What You'll Bring:

Prior experience with preventative maintenance, machine adjustments, and harvesting procedures is preferred

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Positive attitude

Strong work ethic

Safety mindset
