Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting CNG equipment and systems to ensure safe and reliable operation. Your expertise will support our commitment to safety, environmental standards, and operational excellence in natural gas compression and related petrochemical processes. Duties Perform preventative maintenance on compressors and CNG equipment, including oil and filter changes and monitoring pressure and temperature readings. Perform scheduled maintenance in accordance with OEM recommendations, including oil changes and the inspection or replacement of valves, packing, and other components. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNG compression equipment and related systems. Respond to emergency and after-hours service calls as required. Complete daily service documentation and reports accurately and on time. Work independently in the field with minimal supervision. Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers. Travel, as required, to support customer and operational needs. Ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment onsite. Adhere to company and client Health and Safety Standards and practices. Perform other duties as necessary as the key point of contact onsite. Skills Compressor maintenance experience and knowledge of natural gas compression systems. Experience working with high-pressure gas systems. Experience troubleshooting emergency shutdown (ESD) systems. Experience troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read, understand, and follow OEM and O&M manuals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a safety-focused approach to work. Proficiency with computers and electronic service documentation systems. Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours service calls. Ability to travel as required Excellent organizational and communication skills, interpersonal skills, and an ability to influence and to deal tactfully with a wide range of personalities. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Always maintain a high level of housekeeping on customer sites. Exceptional work ethic with a positive, analytical, and safe work attitude
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED certificate Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must have and maintain valid state-issued driver's license, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle and meet the requirements of the Company's vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines. Must pass a pre-employment background. Must pass a drug and alcohol test Must pass a pre-employment physical. Pay:
From $28.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
