This Maintenance Technician / Industrial Refrigeration Technician opportunity offers a stable Monday-Friday schedule and the chance to own a newly established maintenance function in a company that supports a chain of 30+ restaurants. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Maintenance Technician / Industrial Refrigeration Technician position include: Approximately 3-5 years of industrial maintenance, commercial refrigeration, food-equipment maintenance, or related experience Strong refrigeration troubleshooting ability, including diagnosing and repairing walk-in coolers, a walk-in freezer, and blast freezers Perform preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and repairs, and maintain maintenance schedules and service logs Support facility upkeep and coordinate with outside contractors when specialized assistance is needed Comfort learning unfamiliar food-processing and production equipment as needed Experience maintaining food-manufacturing, food-processing, commercial kitchen, or similar production environments strongly preferred Target candidates with an EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (Type II may be considered if it covers the facility's equipment) Maryland HVACR licensure preferred (not expected to be required for routine in-house maintenance)

Salary:

$32-$40/hour, based on experience; overtime paid when applicable.
