Hourly pay + overtime + after-hours-call pay RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is looking for an experienced Mobile Reefer Technician who knows truck and trailer refrigeration systems. A successful applicant for this position will have strong experience with: Transport refrigeration Reefer unit service Truck HVAC / auxiliary HVAC Trailer refrigeration systems Diesel-powered refrigeration equipment Knowledge and repair experience with Thermo King, SB and Precedent units. V-320 units are transit vans also helpful Mobile truck service Ability to work safety and independently What we offer High earning potential for experienced techs Overtime and after-hour calls pay Quarterly production/performance bonuses after 90 days Tools supplied if needed. Strong benefits package - after 90 days Clothing and boot allowance 401(k) after 1 year Opportunity for growth What You'll Do Inspect, diagnose, repair and service transport refrigeration systems and associated equipment Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, diesel and refrigeration problems on trucks and trailers Repair and maintain reefer units, truck air conditioning systems, trailer refrigeration equipment and related components Read, interpret and apply electrical and refrigeration diagrams and schematics Accurately document work performed Maintain all safety standards for repairs and safe operation of truck and equipment. Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on mechanical experience in transport refrigeration, reefer service, truck service. EPA 608 Type 2 Certification Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a Chauffeur's License Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to pass a DOT Physical and drug screen Highly Preferred Direct experience with Thermo King or Carrier reefer units EPA certification Cargo Bull training or certificate or willingness to get trained in this system Experience working in a mobile reefer tech role About RSS Mobile Trailer Repair RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry.
