We are looking to expand our Capital Region team by adding a Refrigeration Technician to lead service on refrigeration appliances for our commercial clients. Company vehicle and mobile device is provided. Dispatch from home allowed from anywhere in the Capital Region.

Refrigeration Technician Responsibilities include:

Demonstrating expertise in refrigeration or experience in servicing walk-in coolers, reach-in coolers, ice machines and other commercial refrigeration appliances. Act as lead technician when completing diagnostics & repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen refrigeration equipment at customer locations and facilities. Producing accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory. Attend both in-house and national trainings to become certified by the industry's leading manufacturers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age. 4-8 years of previous experience or training in the fields of mechanics and HVAC/R. Electric and Plumbing experience preferred. Valid NYS Driver's License. Clean driving record. Ability to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain high-quality customer service and care. United States Preferred Qualifications:

Trade school or college certification in HVAC/R preferred.

Certificates:

EPA 608 and OSHA10. Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings. Bonus if versed in hot side or specialty equipment.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, & occasionally lift & carry up to 70 pounds . Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, open flames, and heated surfaces and liquids. Ability to follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.

Hours and Travel:

75% of travel to be completed in the Capital Region. 25% completed in surrounding areas, always with prior notificiation. Standard hours are Monday-Friday | 8:00 am-4:30 pm. This is subject to change based on customer schedules and management's discretion. Pride Commercial Appliance Service is a growing Commercial Kitchen Appliance Repair & Installation service provider. We have been providing service to: hospitals, universities, major retailers, healthcare facilities, and restaurants since 2004 and we are steadily expanding across NYS.
