Job Description
Better Foods Inc. is looking for a Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and cooling systems in restaurants. Pay is variable pending experience and certifications. Typical Responsibilities Install refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment Diagnose and repair cooling system faults Check compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant lines Test electrical controls and components Recharge refrigerants and check for leaks Perform preventive maintenance Read technical drawings and wiring diagrams Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Required Skills HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) knowledge Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Refrigerant handling and recovery Use of gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools Problem-solving and customer service skills Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Technical/vocational training in refrigeration or HVAC Relevant certifications (depending on country or region) Valid driver's license (often required)
