The Central Services Technician is responsible for setting the daily priorities within the department under direct supervision from the O.R. Manager, Supervisor, RN, or Certified Surgical Technician. Performs a variety of routine cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Operating Room.

What You'll Do:

Ability to properly use tools and devices necessary to clean. Performs terminal cleans as set up by supervisors, follow policy. Understands how to properly use cleaning agents and compounds. Reviews the Material Safety Data sheets annually and as needed. Demonstrates competence in sterile techniques, infection control, and uses Standard Precaution. Decontaminates O.R. after procedure and sets room up for next case.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous housekeeping experience desirable.

Job Information:

12-hour varied shifts, per diem. Starting wage $23.18 to $28.10 based on qualifications.
