We are looking for someone who is comfortable troubleshooting both electronic and mechanical systems and can work beyond basic part replacement. The ideal candidate has experience with arcade equipment, amusement machines, electronics repair, or a related technical field. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair arcade games and amusement equipment Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical failures Repair, replace, and configure coin mechanisms, bill acceptors, card readers, and payment systems Diagnose wiring, connectors, switches, buttons, joysticks, sensors, motors, power supplies, and other components Troubleshoot game boards, PCBs, control boards, and related electronics Perform board-level repairs when practical, including soldering and component replacement Diagnose monitors, displays, audio systems, lighting, and power issues Install replacement parts and configure equipment after repairs Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and routine inspections Test repaired machines to ensure reliable operation before returning them to service Identify recurring problems and recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacement when appropriate Maintain an organized inventory of common replacement parts, tools, and repair supplies Document repairs and maintenance performed Respond to equipment failures and help minimize arcade downtime Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Arcade or amusement equipment repair Electronics repair PCB / circuit-board troubleshooting Soldering and component-level repair Coin-operated equipment Card-reader or cashless arcade systems Low-voltage electrical systems Computers and PC-based arcade hardware Mechanical repair Pinball, vending, casino, jukebox, ATM, or similar electromechanical equipment Formal arcade-industry experience is not required if you have strong electronics and troubleshooting skills. Candidates with backgrounds in electronics repair, computer hardware, vending equipment, industrial maintenance, automotive electronics, or similar technical work are encouraged to apply. What We're Looking For We need someone who enjoys figuring out why something isn't working, rather than simply replacing parts until it works. You should be comfortable using tools such as multimeters, soldering equipment, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment; reading wiring diagrams or technical documentation; tracing electrical faults; and working independently through unfamiliar problems. Reliability and attention to detail are important. Our arcade equipment operates in a public entertainment environment, so repairs need to be safe, clean, and dependable. Work Environment This position is based at Supernova Slice Pizza in Redlands, California and involves working directly with arcade and amusement equipment in an active restaurant and entertainment environment. The work may require standing, bending, reaching inside cabinets, moving equipment, lifting components, and occasionally working in confined areas behind or underneath machines.
Pay:
$25.00 - $33.80 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
