Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Septic Pump Technician, become a vital part of maintaining essential water and waste management systems, and be home every night! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, inspecting, and pumping septic systems to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably. Your expertise will help keep residential, commercial, and industrial properties functioning smoothly while adhering to local building codes and safety standards. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your mechanical skills and construction experience will make a real impact every day. Responsibilities Operate and maintain septic pumping equipment to service residential and commercial septic systems efficiently. Perform routine inspections of septic tanks, leach fields, and associated plumbing components using plumbing inspection cameras and schematics in accordance with county regulations. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to conduct minor repair projects safely. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate system installation and maintenance according to local building codes. Diagnose issues within plumbing systems, including water systems and HVAC components related to septic operations. Maintain detailed records of service activities, inspections, repairs, and parts used; adhere to safety protocols on job sites. Qualifications Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement and clean driving record required. Construction experience with a focus on plumbing or water systems is desired. Mechanical knowledge of plumbing inspection cameras, schematics, blueprints reading is highly desirable. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting is essential. Familiarity with local building codes related to septic systems and water management is desired. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow schematics is required. Strong problem-solving skills combined with basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations. Construction site experience with an understanding of safety protocols.
