In this role, you'll perform mechanical and cosmetic reconditioning, conduct safety and quality checks, and use diagnostic tools and shop systems to ensure vehicles meet Cox and client standards. You'll follow repair orders, document work performed, and collaborate with service advisors and teammates to meet production goals. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles in reconditioning operations Perform mechanical, cosmetic, and safety-related reconditioning work Use diagnostic tools, shop equipment, and repair systems accurately Follow repair orders and document all services performed Conduct quality and safety checks prior to vehicle release Meet production and turnaround time goals for vehicle throughput Collaborate with service advisors, inspectors, and fellow technicians Follow all safety, environmental, and compliance procedures Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area Support continuous improvement and training initiatives Required Skills Automotive diagnostics Vehicle mechanical repair Brake and suspension service Electrical system troubleshooting Use of OBD-II and diagnostic tools Service documentation and repair orders Safety and compliance procedures Vehicle inspection and quality control Use of shop management systems Time management and production efficiency
