We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Precision Cleaning and Testing Technician, for both field services and shop services , to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precision cleaning and testing operations on pipes, tubes, and various components, including aerospace hardware, using specialized chemicals, solvents, and acids. You will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, maintain equipment, and document results accurately. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
Perform precision cleaning of pipes, tubes, and various components using approved chemicals, solvents, and acids. Conduct testing operations to ensure the integrity and cleanliness of materials. o To include pressure testing, hydrostatic and pneumatic. Perform specialized testing with cryogenics, such as liquid nitrogen. Follow detailed procedures and protocols to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency during operations. Use specialized equipment for cleaning and testing tasks.
To include laboratory equipment:
Microscope Evaporation systems Scales / Balances Ovens / Heaters / Dehumidifiers Psychrometer / Humidity-Dew Point Meters Various calibrated instrumentation and tooling Document cleaning and testing results accurately. Inspect and maintain cleaning and testing equipment. Adhere to environmental and safety regulations. Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure standards are met. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cleaning and testing processes. Keep a clean and organized work area. Material handling Forklift operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to handle chemicals and solvents safely. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Basic understanding of testing equipment and procedures. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move materials as required. Standing for extended periods. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Working Conditions:
Shop environment. May require work in field and construction site environments. Cleanroom environment. Exposure to chemicals and solvents.

$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
