A plumber service technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, including tasks like fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing fixtures (toilets, faucets, sinks), maintaining water heaters, and ensuring proper functionality of all plumbing components while adhering to local building codes and safety standards; they typically respond to customer service calls to address plumbing issues and provide accurate cost estimates for repairs. Service Techs - $25.00 - $35.00 an hour Key responsibilities: Troubleshooting and diagnosis: Identify the source of plumbing problems like leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and malfunctioning fixtures.

Repair and maintenance:

Perform repairs on pipes, faucets, toilets, drains, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures.

Installation:

Install new plumbing fixtures, appliances (dishwashers), and pipes as needed.

Drain cleaning:

Use specialized equipment to clear clogged drains and sewer lines.

Preventative maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on plumbing systems to prevent future issues.

Customer service:
