Pay:
Up to $30/hr based on skill and experience Attention This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Associate Motor Repair Technician A hands-on, high?energy role for someone who loves tearing into motors, diagnosing problems, and bringing machinery back to life. Strong training, real tools, real machines, and real impact. You'll remanufacture industrial motors back to peak performance, diagnose issues, run test equipment, and keep the shop humming. Expect deep on?the?job training, steady skill growth, and plenty of chances to get your hands dirty in a fast-moving repair environment. What You'll Do Motor diagnostics — test, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Motor remanufacturing — rebuild units to original performance standards. Shop equipment maintenance — keep meters, presses, cranes, and test rigs in top shape. Paperwork & estimates — complete repair documentation accurately and on time. Inventory participation — assist with annual parts and equipment counts. Team-based learning — work closely with senior techs to build your skillset. What You Bring Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools, rotating machinery, vibration concepts. Electrical fundamentals — motors, generators, semiconductors. Machine shop experience — ideally 6-12 months. Motor repair experience — at least one year. Ability to run a lathe, oscilloscope, bearing press, overhead crane, and other shop equipment. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel). Physical Requirements Lift up to 75 lbs occasionally. Work in a factory environment with variable temps, solvents, and dirty work.
