$12.00 - $15.00 per hour/

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30

Pineville, LA Job Summary Our client is seeking a dependable and hardworking Street Repair Technician to assist with the maintenance, repair, and improvement of city streets, sidewalks, drainage systems, and public infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and contributing to the safety and appearance of the community. This is a contract to hire opportunity with the potential for full-time city employment and excellent benefits upon permanent hire. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on city streets, sidewalks, curbs, and drainage systems Repair potholes and damaged road surfaces using asphalt, concrete, and other materials Assist with street sign installation, repair, and replacement Operate equipment such as dump trucks, skid steers, mowers, compactors, and other maintenance tools Follow all safety procedures, traffic control regulations, and city policies Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition Perform other street and public works duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Valid Class A or Class B CDL required Experience in construction, public works, landscaping, maintenance, or related fields preferred Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and light/heavy equipment safely Ability to perform strenuous physical labor and work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more as needed Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills Apply Today If you have a CDL, High School Diploma or GED , and experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, or public works, we encourage you to apply today.
