Job Description

We don't care where you went to school, what degree you have, or whether you even went. We care that you show up on time, work hard, pay attention, and want to learn. We'll teach you everything else. As a Service Technician with Fire Tech & Safety, you'll inspect, test, troubleshoot, and service SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) used by firefighters and other emergency responders. The work is hands-on and repetitive at times, but it matters. You'll be helping make sure the equipment firefighters depend on to breathe in dangerous environments is ready when they need it. This is more than just another hourly job. It's an opportunity to learn a trade, build a career, and play a direct role in public safety. The work you do helps protect the firefighters who protect our communities. You do not need previous technical experience, a college degree, trade school, or even a high school diploma/GED. We provide the training. What we need from you is reliability, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and pride in doing the job right. What You'll Do Inspect and test firefighter breathing equipment Perform routine service and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot equipment that fails testing Replace components and assemblies as needed Retest equipment to ensure it meets required standards Maintain accurate service records Work with an experienced team that will train you from the ground up What We're Looking For Someone who shows up on time and can be counted on Good attention to detail Comfortable working with your hands Willingness to learn and follow established procedures Ability to work independently once trained A positive attitude and pride in your work What We Offer Starting pay of $22/hour Full-time employment Paid, hands-on training Opportunity to advance as your skills and experience grow A stable career in the fire and emergency-services industry Work that has a real purpose and directly supports public safety If you're dependable, willing to learn, and want a job where your work actually matters, we want to hear from you

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Mobile appointments may require an earlier AM start time.
Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift 30+ lbs. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
