Job Description

Position Overview:
Our Residential Plumbing Service Technician will repair and maintenance plumbing systems in residential properties. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that homes have reliable and efficient plumbing systems, addressing issues promptly to prevent damage and inconvenience to homeowners.
Your Day-to-Day:
Repairs:
When there's a plumbing problem in a home, such as leaks, clogs, or broken fixtures, our service plumbers are called to diagnose and fix the issue. This can involve repairing or replacing damaged pipes, faucets, toilets, water heaters, or any other plumbing components.
Maintenance :
Regular maintenance is essential to prevent major plumbing issues. Our service plumbers perform tasks like inspecting pipes for leaks, checking water pressure, cleaning drains, and flushing water heaters to remove sediment buildup.
Emergency Services:
Plumbing emergencies can happen at any time, such as burst pipes or overflowing toilets. Our service plumbers will respond to such emergencies and provide prompt repairs.
Consultation and Advice:
You may also offer consultation services, advising homeowners on plumbing system upgrades, energy-efficient fixtures, water conservation measures, and other improvements that can enhance the efficiency and functionality of their plumbing systems. What Does It Take? Valid Journeyman Plumber license, or the ability to obtain one within 3-6 months 3+ years of progressive plumbing experience Knowledge and Use of Hand tools for plumbing projects Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards Possess strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair plumbing issues effectively Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and educating customers on all options Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid Driver's License required Clear background check, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and drug screen Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing, and working in confined or restricted spaces. Employees must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push, pull, move, and position plumbing equipment, fixtures, tools, and materials. The role requires the use of hand and power tools, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing physically demanding work throughout the workday. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, wet or damp areas, dust, dirt, and other conditions commonly encountered in residential plumbing environments.
