This role is a good fit for someone with hands-on electronics experience who enjoys diagnosing problems, using test equipment, reading schematics, and working through technical issues at the circuit board or component level. The ideal candidate has experience with electronics troubleshooting, PCB repair, soldering, wiring, power validation, test procedures, or electronic equipment repair. Aviation experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person on our repair station processes if they have strong electronics skills and are willing to learn. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair electronic components and assemblies Diagnose circuit board, wiring, connector, and component-level issues Use digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other test equipment Perform power checks, continuity checks, and functional testing Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and technical manuals Execute test procedures and document results accurately Verify that repaired units meet required functionality and quality standards Perform soldering, desoldering, wire repair, and PCB component repair as needed Support testing and validation of low-voltage and high-voltage electronic assemblies Maintain accurate repair notes, test results, and required documentation Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards Keep work area clean, organized, and ready for inspection What We're Looking For Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic equipment Ability to use a digital multimeter and basic electronics test equipment Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, or technical drawings Experience with soldering, wiring, PCB repair, or component-level repair Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Comfortable following detailed test procedures and technical instructions Able to work carefully and consistently in a regulated repair environment Willingness to learn avionics repair processes and FAA repair station requirements Dependable, focused, and able to work as part of a team Preferred, but not required Experience with PCB troubleshooting or circuit board repair Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, or logic probes Experience performing power validation or functional testing Experience executing test plans or verification procedures Experience with industrial controls, military electronics, electronic systems, or technical repair work IPC, soldering, electronics, ETA, military electronics, or related technical training/certification Experience working under military, IEC/EN, ISO, FAA, or other quality/compliance standards
