Job Summary:

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for heavy equipment? Join Ohio CAT as a Shop Service Technician and become a vital part of a team that keeps Ohio's construction and power equipment running strong.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, aerial lifts, and allied machinery Troubleshoot drive-train, electrical, and hydraulic systems Perform routine maintenance and manufacturer updates Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers and team members

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical training or college coursework (preferred)

Experience:

Prior experience in construction or power equipment service and repair

Skills & Traits:

Strong mechanical aptitude and technical service skills Proficiency in DC electrical systems and machine electronics Ability to read and apply technical manuals and service bulletins Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently Excellent communication and computer skills

Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling. Standing, sitting, and climbing up and down stairs, as well as standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal.
