If you thrive in a hands-on environment, enjoy utilizing tools to solve technical problems, and have a passion for understanding how electrical and mechanical systems integrate, this role is a great fit for you. Ideal candidates will possess a background in machine repair, equipment service, or appliance maintenance. While experience with automotive or small engine work is valuable, a history in appliance repair is particularly beneficial due to the overlapping nature of pumps, motors, wiring, and complex troubleshooting requirements. Core Duties Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions Ensure commercial restoration and cleaning units are fully operational through expert maintenance and repair Analyze and fix issues related to switches, hoses, pumps, motors, and wiring Utilize power and hand tools to dismantle, fix, and rebuild machinery Execute routine service and preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly Verify that all serviced machinery functions correctly through rigorous testing Provide guidance to clients regarding basic equipment troubleshooting Help maintain a safe and orderly workspace for the entire team Document all service and repair details with precision Support the efficiency of the service workflow and incoming equipment processing Provide general assistance with warehouse or shop tasks as required Requirements Demonstrate a high level of mechanical aptitude Bring relevant experience from roles in machine service, equipment repair, or appliance maintenance Show proficiency in diagnosing both basic electrical and mechanical faults Possess practical experience operating various power and hand tools Apply effective problem-solving techniques to complex technical challenges Maintain a consistent and reliable work ethic Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward learning new equipment systems Take full responsibility for repairs while working autonomously Foster positive communication with team members and clients Relevant Professional Backgrounds Appliance Repair Technician Equipment Repair Technician Maintenance Technician Machine Technician Service Technician Industrial Maintenance Mechanical Technician Automotive Technician Small Engine Mechanic Although prior exposure to restoration or cleaning equipment is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
